Course summary
Develop your expertise and creativity in your chosen design area with this degree top up programme. You can focus on graphic design, web design, textile design, multimedia design, interior design or a combination of these areas. You will learn through creative studio-based activities and self-initiated briefs, so you develop your own personal style and create a unique portfolio relating to your chosen design discipline. You will work in our in-house creative and digital suite and use industry standard equipment including Apple Macs, design-based technology and software. What’s next? You will have the skills required to progress into employment within your chosen specialism or continue your studies at a higher level.

Standard entry criteria: Level 5 qualification in a design related discipline. Non-standard entry: Evidence of appropriate creative experience or employment within the creative industries. Additional requirements: All external applicants must be interviewed with an art and design based portfolio which shows evidence of digital literacy to meet the needs of degree level study. Have, or be working towards, Level 2 or equivalent in English and maths.
