Course summary

The construction industry is of considerable economic and strategic importance across the UK. This course is designed for those who are already working in, or aspiring to work in, the construction industry in a range of roles. The programme provides students with knowledge and skills in management processes, health, safety and other legislation as applicable to the built environment, understanding of materials and methods of construction and design and ICT.

The course includes the following subjects: Domestic Construction, Environmental Building Science, Materials, ICT and Design, Construction Contractual Procedures and Construction & Civil Engineering Management
