Easton College has opted into the TEF and received a Bronze award.
This BSc Top-Up degree programme will provide a route for progression as a top-up from Easton & Otley College's current Foundation Degree in Animal Science & Welfare (and similar Foundation Degree programmes elsewhere).
You will study two core modules: Dissertation; Developments in Landbased Sciences. You will be able to select three options from the following modules: Conservation Biology; Comparative Animal Nutrition; Ethics & Sustainability; Advanced Canine & Feline Behaviour & Training.
Teaching methods are tailored to the subject area and the aims and learning outcomes of the particular modules studied. These include practicals, group activities, lectures, workshops, problem solving, tutorials, e-learning seminars, external visits and guest speakers. Students will demonstrate their knowledge, skills and abilities through a range of assessment methods to enhance the learning experience and reward valuable workplace skills. Assessment methods may include laboratory reports, essays, practical observation, reflective journals, literature reviews, case studies, presentations, debates, written examinations, project and peer review.
