Course summary
This Masters in Sociology & Research Methods will provide you with research skills for qualitative and quantitative social investigation and theoretical knowledge of key problems in the philosophy of social science. WHY THIS PROGRAMME
- You will develop your knowledge of sociology, including a critical understanding of social theory and a knowledge of empirical research studies.
- The programme will provide you with an advanced education in sociology, but can also serve as preparation for further sociological research in a PhD, to which many of our students successfully progress.
- It will provide you with the Economic & Social Research Council-required level of research training in the pathway of sociology.
