This MSc Strategic Business and Entrepreneurship provides you with the knowledge and skillset to accomplish your own entrepreneurial ambitions. If you want to build upon your ideas, seek industry support from the London community, network with like-minded peers, we provide a bespoke offer. Likewise, if you are a graduate who is entrepreneurially minded but not yet ready to start your own venture, this programme offers ample opportunity to gain conceptual and practical skills from finance, business plan development through to people management and marketing, all in the context of small businesses and entrepreneurial ventures. During your first term you will learn about strategy, customers, and how to identify opportunity. Your second term will focus on goods and services sales management, the mechanics of finance and digital marketing. To complete the postgraduate award your final piece of work will be to deliver a business plan and make a pitch to a select panel. To do this we have teamed up with the Santander Universities LaunchPad programme at Roehampton to ensure that you learn business plan skills. Roehampton has also partnered with Wandsworth Chamber of Commerce so that students can work on real entrepreneurial business cases. The programme benefits from the Roehampton Business School’s wider start-up activities and its links with the City of London. In addition to the academic course you will have the opportunity to join our Global Leadership Programme. This programme is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) meaning that students will be awarded a CMI level 7 certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice.
You should usually hold a second-class honours degree (certain programmes may require a 2:1) from a recognised British or overseas university. Advice on recognition can be obtained from the Admissions Office. Non-graduates with appropriate professional qualifications will be considered on an individual basis by Programme Conveners; contact details can be found on the individual programme page. Applicants will be expected to apply and register for the full master's award. Those with a third-class honours degree are encouraged to complete an application as we will consider an applicant's wider circumstances in making a decision on an application.
