This fast-track entry into the final year of our business studies course offers foundation and HND students a chance to top up to a degree. Our direct entry business studies degree is for anyone who has a foundation degree, HND or two years of higher education in business or management and wants to 'top up' to an honours degree. This means that you go straight into the final year of the course. This degree is designed to help you develop key business skills in decision making and leadership, skills all highly valued by employers. Popular career options for our business studies graduates range from financially focused managerial roles to auditing and global management consulting.
All degree courses are made up of modules – individual units of study on different topics. Some modules are compulsory; others can be chosen from a list of options. Foundation degree or HND required for entry onto this programme. You should have a minimum of 120 credits at Level 4 and 120 credits at Level 5 with an average overall score of 55%, with no failed or referred courses. PLUS Applicants who do not have English as their first language require IELTS 6 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each skills) or equivalent in a secure English language test. Alternatively, students with an overall IELTS of 5 or 5.5 can study our pre-sessional English language programme prior to degree studies.
