Course summary

Develop the skills you'll need to lead and manage teams, identifying and putting into practice innovative solutions to construction-related problems. This course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). With an emphasis on construction and projects you’ll gain the key skills necessary to choose between a variety of management roles in the construction sector. The practical emphasis in our specialist modules gives you the confidence and encouragement needed to develop your own management style. By the time you graduate, you’ll have a complete understanding of the role of the construction manager throughout the whole construction process.

Assessment method

We’ll assess your progress from your assignments, case studies, exams, group work and presentations, as well as your major project.


Entry requirements

A first degree, with honours, in a related subject and at a minimum final classification of lower second (2:2) or equivalent. If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5 ( Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
