Combine the study of two core elements of business on our Economics and Management joint honours programme. You gain the skills and knowledge essential for managing key areas of organisations alongside an understanding of economic processes and practices. We provide you with the tools that economists have developed in financial and money markets. Tools that will aid you in analysing real economic problems. Shape your degree outside the classroom with our thriving student led societies. Kent Invest focusses on financial markets holding an annual trading competition. The Economics Society explores issues of the moment through the lens of the discipline, culminating in an annual networking conference. The Business Society aims to increase commercial awareness, discuss current affairs and encourage networking for greater graduate prospects. You will learn how economists and business leaders think and become familiar with the tools they use for analysing real-world problems.
