Designed around the needs of employers, best practice and current trends, Marketing at Salford Business School provides you with a strong business education in preparation for an exciting career in a fast-paced environment. Industry relevance is central to all of the programmes offered at Salford Business School. As a Marketing student, you’ll benefit from our industry links through the inclusion of guest speakers from the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, providing you with an insight into how different organisations market themselves in different environments. With the opportunity to take part in a work placement following your second year, you’ll have chance to take what you’ve learned through your studies, and put it into practice in a real business situation. If you choose to undertake a professional experience year, not only will your career prospects benefit, but you will not pay tuition fees for that year and will earn a wage for the work you do. This course is also available with a Professional Experience Year, giving you the opportunity to apply the skills, knowledge and understanding you have gained in the first two years of the course. If you choose to take the professional year option, you will not pay fees to the University and will earn a wage for the work that you do. There are different entry requirements and course codes for the Professional Experience Year option. This degree is also offered with a Foundation Year.
