Course summary
Our master's degrees in advanced mechanical engineering science combine the traditional aspects of mechanical engineering with interdisciplinary subjects so you can specialise in a career you want. You'll be exposed to modern issues in advanced mechanical engineering science, and explore the performance and reliability of rocket motors, jet engines and compressors. You’ll learn to analyse and design advanced electrical systems, and study subjects like gas turbines, internal combustion and, electrical and hybrid engines. This course is ideal if you are an engineering, mathematics or physical science graduate who wants to be challenged academically.

International applicants
English language: Band C, IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in all components.
This course has a subject classification which requires students whose nationality is outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland to have an ATAS certificate, irrespective of country of residence at the point of application.
