Upon completion of your Higher National Certificate in Construction Management (Construction Design and Build Technician) you will have developed a sound understanding of architectural practices and techniques along with other disciplines ensuring you will be ready to take the next step forward in the design of construction projects, or take further qualifications to better your knowledge and understanding of the industry. This course is particularly relevant to people already working in or looking to develop a career within it. Further the course provides a range of skills relevant across a variety of different professions. People who have completed this course have gone on to work in areas of architectural practice and design and build: • Construction Technician • Architectural Technologist • Architectural Draftsperson • Information Manager • Architectural Technician • Architectural Designer If you wish to continue studying beyond this course, it will provide you with a strong academic basis to do so. Course progression routes may include The HNC course is designed to provide progression onto a BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) top-up or a higher apprenticeship top-up. This will also then offer a route to study a top-up degree in quantity surveying or a related discipline as well as progression to professional body membership.
