Our degree covers the fundamental principles of business, but applied in the context of the agri-food chain. It is a practical course and includes topics such as: marketing, law and economics; agriculture; psychology and food and human nutrition.

A level BBB - ABB GCSE Mathematics (minimum grade B or 6) required if not taken at A or AS level.
Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) DDD - DDM Business-related subjects preferred.
Access to HE Diploma D: 30 credits M: 15 credits Level 3 units in Business, Marketing or Economics are desirable.
Scottish Higher AABBB - AAABB Mathematics required at National 5, minimum grade B (or grade 2 Standard Grade or Intermediate 2 equivalent) if not offered at Higher Grade. Where a candidate bypasses the assessment for National 5 qualifications, a minimum of grade C in the Higher in Mathematics is required. Combinations of Highers and Advanced Highers accepted. Scottish qualifications can be taken in more than one sitting.
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme 32 points Standard level Mathematics or Mathematical Studies required at grade 5 if not offered at Higher Level.
Extended Project We welcome applications from students offering an Extended Project and value the skills of research and independent learning that it is designed to develop. If you offer an Extended Project, it will be taken into account as part of your application profile, but we will not usually include it in offer conditions for this degree programme.
Leaving Certificate - Higher Level (Ireland) (first awarded in 2017) H1, H1, H2, H2, H3 - H1, H1, H1, H2, H3 normally including Mathematics. Ordinary level Mathematics required at grade O2 if not offered at Higher level.
Cambridge International Pre-U Certificate - Principal M2, M2, M2 - D3, M2, M2 GCSE Mathematics (minimum grade B or 6) required if not taken as a Principal Subject.
