Course summary

If you have a Foundation Degree or HND in any area of music production then we offer the opportunity to top up your qualification to a full BA(Hons) undergraduate degree with one further year of study. It is an intense one year course that includes a creative dissertation, working on a large scale project of your choice. Many students have taken this opportunity to use the amazing facilities at dBs to produce fantastic work in a particular area they are most interested in. It provides the perfect end to undergraduate studies for students who have a passion for making music in a variety of contexts. You will leave with advanced practical and theoretical knowledge of studio recording, music production and project management techniques, developing essential grounding in the core principles vital for a successful career in music production and sound engineering. This course is taught by dBs and awarded by Falmouth University.

We regret that this course is not available to international applicants who would require a Student Visa. If English is not your first language, you will need to demonstrate English language skills that are sufficiently developed for successful completion of your studies. We accept a range of recognised English language qualifications that are equivalent to the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic minimum score of 6.0 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening.
