Course summary

Our Sport Marketing MSc programme will provide you with a robust understanding of the key principles of marketing, whilst delivering the latest best-practice from industry so that you can compete as a marketer in the fast-paced and ever-evolving sport business sector. This Sport Marketing master's programme has been designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of the latest sport marketing and business management techniques, providing you with the skills needed to address associated challenges in the most effective way. You will discover how to create successful sport marketing strategies using market research, targeted marketing techniques and marketing communications knowledge, as well as project management and campaign monitoring skills. Alongside teaching of sports marketing theory and practice, as part of your Sport Marketing MSc you will gain hands-on experience of project planning and industry collaboration, through practical modules such as the Collaborative Project. Together the faculty will introduce you to the latest research driving the sport marketing, digital and media environment, and other related areas. Entry requirements

A 2:1 honours degree (with a minimum of 60% in final year), or equivalent international qualification, in wide range of disciplines.


English language requirements

English Language requirements: IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in each subtest (Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking) or equivalent.

The tuition fees shown are for new students commencing the first year of study in the specified year only. The fee stated is for a full-time student undertaking a master’s programme of 180 credits. Part-time students, or those taking a postgraduate certificate or a postgraduate diploma, should divide the published fee by 180 credits and then multiply by the number of credits they are taking to calculate their tuition fees. Fees are reviewed annually and are likely to increase to take into account inflationary pressures.
