On this course you will learn the fundamentals of chemistry, the supporting skills and methods for study, and you will have the opportunity to work with a local company. As you progress, you will learn more of the specialist techniques and theories of chemistry, and also build your professional networks. We believe that the traditional examination is not always the best way to assess a student’s ability in chemistry (in fact, it is often a test of memory). You can expect to be assessed using a variety of methods including laboratory reports, practical exams, podcast recording as well as poster and oral presentations.
