Local business and industry require the best people to promote and expand the future of Mechanical , Electrical and Electronic Engineering. The Higher National Certificate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering is a two year course for those seeking a formal qualification which provides a mix of mechanical and electrical units to satisfy today's industrial requirements. Electrical and Electronic Engineering offers a wide range of optional units such as industrial power, electronics and storage, embedded systems, PLC's, analogue electronic systems and digital systems. The course is delivered over one day per week for 36 weeks making it suitable for those employed in industry who are permitted day release for study. There is an opportunity to study an extra year at the end of the course and achieve the Higher National Diploma during which you would develop further skills and knowledge to suit a range of careers and disciplines within industry.
