Course summary
This programme provides a rare opportunity to experience being taught by academic experts from across the Management School. Be it business analytics, finance, accounting, management, organisation and work theory, data analysis, economics or marketing, you will be exposed to the full spectrum of functions found in any business or organisation. This holistic, interdisciplinary approach, combined with a year of study abroad, equips you for success in your career. The degree provides the opportunity to pursue your interests in the areas of business or management that suits you. After a first year that equips you with a sound knowledge of management, marketing, financial accounting, organisations and business statistics, your second and final year provides you with more options. While studying the core modules of leadership, business, and strategic management, you may choose to take options in operations management, economics, organisations and work, entrepreneurship, and marketing. Your third year is undertaken at one of our global partner universities, building your worldly outlook and connectivity, with study areas including leadership, business and strategic management. Your learning here will be delivered in English enabling you to focus on study as well as enjoying your new surroundings. Returning to Lancaster, your final year provides you with more options. While studying the core modules of leadership, business, and strategic management, you may choose to take options in operations management, economics, organisations and work, entrepreneurship, and marketing. Our graduates benefit from their strong grounding in all areas of business, coupled with having access to a dedicated Management School careers team, with specialist staff including a Business Management Careers Coach.
