Gain an insight into financial markets and understand how financial decisions taken by individuals and organisations impact on the world around us. As well as being prepared for a successful legal career, you will be able to use your knowledge of financial ideas, theories and regulations to contribute to the commercial success of an organisation. As a qualifying law degree, this course is recognised by the regulatory bodies of the legal profession, including the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Bar Standards Board, as fulfilling the academic stage of your legal training. Combining your legal studies with a range of finance-related subjects such as accountancy and economics could open up alternative careers in business and finance. COURTROOM Our students can hone their legal expertise in purpose-built facilities, including our very own courtroom. EMPLOYABILITY We have strong connections with local, regional and national law firms, so you will network with potential employers through guest lectures and have the opportunity to be mentored by an industry expert.
