Remember, many CEOs started out as accountants. This programme is accredited by the major accounting bodies. You will receive student membership of CIMA, the world's largest professional body of management accountants. You will gain valuable industry experience working on business projects set by prominent companies, such as Sky, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Children 1st. Enhance your CV with extracurricular activities such as the IBM Universities Business Challenge and Entrepreneurial Brains Made on Campus (EBMC) in association with Stuttgart Media University in Germany.

A wide range of teaching, learning and assessment techniques are used. In the early years, you will engage in team working to help develop your collaborative skills. Presentations, written assessments and online discussions will increase your communication skills. Your knowledge will be progressed through lectures, reading and interaction with industry. Your research skills and independence as a learner will peak during the dissertation module in Year 4. Your confidence to go out into the world of work will be confirmed through activities such as Innovation for Global Growth week. Being a professionally accredited programme, there is a strong reliance on exams as assessment. However, students are well prepared for these with lots of examples being practiced in class in advance. Additionally, we use a wide range of other assessment techniques ranging from presentations to online discussions to solutions to industry posed questions.
