Course summary

If you are finding it hard to decide between two subjects you enjoy, you could tailor your degree with a combined honours course. Variety, flexibility and a chance to maximise your employability are just some of the advantages on offer when you choose to study a combined honours degree. And Canterbury Christ Church University offers one of the widest selection of combined honours degrees in the UK. Dance You’ll spend most of your time in the dance studios where you’ll be supported by passionate and experienced tutors. You’ll be challenged to develop technically and creatively as a dancer and as a performer and choreographer. You’ll take part in a range of technique classes, study dance from a historical, social and political viewpoint, and engage in performance and choreography projects. Film, Radio and Television Learn about and work in a variety of media, using industry standard equipment and facilities. You’ll soon be ready for a career in the creative industries.  You’ll have access to:

  • refurbished £350,000 television studio and gallery
  • film and post production equipment including the Arri Amira and Black Magic Ursa Mini Pro digital film cameras, AVID Media Composer and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • four dedicated radio studios, a student radio station CSR (Canterbury Student Radio) run by FRTV students in Christ Church and the University of Kent
Visiting industry professionals and former students will offer you guidance and advice through workshops and dedicated masterclasses.
