Course summary

This course will allow current practitioners to increase their knowledge and skills in the specialist area of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). This is often a challenging area of practice due to the advancing technology and the rising demand for services. It is anticipated that this course will allow the students the opportunity to combine theoretical and clinical knowledge to their current practice which will underpin the advanced practitioner roles required as part of the four-tier structure within MRI.

Candidates will need to evidence: • BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent • A minimum of one year as a registered practitioner • Evidence of HCPC registration • A supporting statement and reference from their employer
