Course summary
This Master’s level leadership programme is ideal for aspiring Senior Leaders or high performers who are managing in organisations where technology is an important focus for business success. The programme provides the opportunity to gain the knowledge, develop the skills and exhibit the behaviours of a Senior Leader, in a structured way, as identified by employers and captured in the Degree Apprenticeship standard.
Modules
Year 1 includes four modules providing a breadth of Senior Leader knowledge. Year 2 provides the opportunity for role-based specialisation and includes selection of four modules, providing further depth to the Senior Leader knowledge Year 3: work-based learning and the completion of a significant work-based project aligned to a relevant business issue. This Apprenticeship also provides you with the opportunity to achieve formal recognition from a relevant professional body.
Assessment method
You will complete eight modules and Post Module Assignments plus a work-based project. We believe that the best way to embed the ideas, tools, and processes you have studied is by applying them back to your work environment. This is why each module is followed by a post module work-based assignment, rather than written examinations.You are required to attend all modules and submit Post Module Assignments. In addition to modules you will attend a four-day Fundamentals block before the start of Year 1 and a three-day Research Methods block (in preparation for the work-based project) before the start of Year 3. This blended learning programme has a focus on work-based learning (through applied assignments in Years 1 and 2 and a significant project in Year 3 – all assessed by the University) combined with best practice study at Warwick.
