Pathway Options: BSc Pathway A: Standard Route (120 credits) Major Subject (60 credits) Second Subject (40 credits) OR Major Subject (60 credits) Second and Third Subjects (2 x 20 credits) BSc Pathway B: No Major Specialism (Option 1) (120 credits) First Subject (40 credits) Second Subject (40 credits) Third Subject (20 credits) BSc Pathway C: No Major Specialism (Option 2) (120 credits) First Subject (40 credits) Second, Third, and Fourth Subjects (3 x 20 credits) Year 2 Core Module: Natural Sciences Mandatory Core (The Reasonable Scientist 2) (20 credits) Focus on science communication, data science, and visualization skills. Pathway Options: Continue with chosen subjects from Year 1. Year 3 Independent Research Project: Total 40 credits Options include a Natural Sciences Group Research Project, subject-specific project, or entrepreneurship modules. Pathway Options: BSc Pathway A (120 credits): Major Subject (60 credits overall) with Independent Research option Second and Third Subjects (60 credits) BSc Pathway B (120 credits): First, Second, and Third Subjects (120 credits) Any valid combination of subjects continued from Year 2 and Independent Research options. BSc Pathway C (120 credits): First, Second, Third, and Fourth Subjects (120 credits) Any valid combination of subjects continued from Year 2 and Independent Research options. Restrictions: No more than 60 credits in any one subject. Total subjects can range from two to three (Pathways A and B) or two to four (Pathway C). Independent Research doesn’t have to be in the Major subject. All subject to prerequisites.
