Course summary

Research covers the environmental, economic and social factors underpinning sustainability in forest systems, studying processes ranging from individual ecological interactions to those acting at a landscape level. Research Areas Forest Ecology and Management with specialisations in:

  • Ecophysiology of the impact and tolerance of heavy metals
  • Plant Nutrition
  • Mycorrhizas in forest ecosystems
  • Impact of CO2
  • Forest Genetics and tree breeding
