For businesses to survive and to grow, responding to change and to innovate is crucial. Our new BSc Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship gives you the opportunity to develop the skills you will need to manage innovations and digital transformations in organisations. This course will also help develop your entrepreneurial skills to support new, start-up businesses. This business innovation and entrepreneurship degree links research expertise - showcased by our Centre for Innovation Management Research - with teaching. It is also designed to respond to the changing educational, cultural, personal and career needs of our students. After successfully completing the BSc Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship, you will also be ready for further study on one of the master’s degree courses at Birkbeck: MSc Business Innovation with Entrepreneurship, MSc Business Innovation with E-Business, MSc Business Innovation with International Technology Management. If you opt for the Foundation Year route, this will fully prepare you for undergraduate study. It is ideal if you are returning to study after a gap, or if you have not previously studied the relevant subjects, or if you didn't achieve the grades you need for a place on your chosen undergraduate degree. Assessment method
Depending on the module: tests, presentations, written essays, examinations. In the final year of studies, you will independently design and complete a large written assignment, in the form of a research project/dissertation.

International applicants
If English is not your first language or you have not previously studied in English, our usual requirement is the equivalent of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic Test) score of 6.5, with not less than 6.0 in each of the sub-tests. We also accept other English language tests.
