Sotheby’s Institute of Art has designed an online delivery of our signature MA in Art Business. The Online MA in Art Business delivers all of the academic content remotely. The curriculum remains aligned with the listed in-person MA at Sotheby’s Institute in New York and is accredited by NASAD (the National Association of Schools of Art and Design). Some modifications to the curriculum have been implemented to reflect best practices in online learning, as well as to better meet the needs of students, both domestic and international, for whom a degree completed over 18 to 24 months in an online mode is well adapted to their ongoing professional and personal commitments. This program combines academic rigor with cutting-edge virtual learning technologies. MA in Art Business (Online) students will be immersed in case studies that offer firsthand experience, such as analyzing the impact of blockchain technology on art transactions. International applicants

- International applicants who are unsure whether their overall mark is equivalent to a Lower Second-Class Honours (2:2) are encouraged to contact the Admissions Office before applying. - A valid English language proficiency exam (required for all international students (EU included): A minimum overall score of IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL IBT 100 or Pearsons PTE Academic 65 must be achieved. We also accept a number of additional Secure English Language tests. Please contact the Admissions Team for guidance if you are planning to take (or have completed) another test. *Please note if you are from, or completed an undergraduate degree in, an English-speaking country, you may be exempt from the need to provide additional evidence of your English language ability. Entry requirements

o be eligible for admission, applicants must have earned a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution by the date on which they enroll at the Institute. We welcome applicants from a range of academic backgrounds. Where an applicant to one of our programmes does not have a first degree in art history or a related subject, the offer may include a recommendation or requirement to complete an introductory Art History course prior to enrolment.
