Course summary

The PGCert Therapeutic Photography course is the first of its kind in the world. You will develop the knowledge and skills to be able to confidently and competently use the technique in practice to enhance self-esteem, self-efficacy and empowerment. Therapeutic Photography is the structured, guided engagement with the creative intervention of photography in order to produce images for exploration with clearly defined outcomes for the participant. The course is aimed at professionals who are working with people who may be vulnerable, marginalised or reluctant to engage.

How to apply

International applicants

Entry requirements

Equivalent of 2.2 undergraduate degree, but applicants with a lower degree classification and relevant work experience will be considered on a case by case basis. A personal statement to include why you wish to study this course, and how you intend to use the qualification in your future career.
