ARU’s teaching facilities include our Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab, where you’ll be able to practice your skills from the first year. It will be your safe space to learn all the tricks of the trade. This way, you’ll be ready for your first graduate role with proficiency in contemporary platforms that are used around the financial world. Receiving an industry-recognised Bloomberg certification on graduation will only increase your pool of career options. From chartered management accountant and credit analyst, through management consultant and corporate investment banker, to bank manager, marketing executive, project manager or environmental manager – the routes after this degree are immeasurable. Foundation Year modules: Foundation in Business. Level 4 modules: Global Business Environment and International Strategy, Introduction to Business Contracts and the Law, Organisational Behaviour, Digital Business and Principles of Marketing, Introduction to Financial Analysis and Management. Level 5 modules: Financial Management, Introduction to Financial Reporting, The Entrepreneurial Journey, Project Management and Implementation, Ruskin Module (Optional). You’ll be assessed by examination, coursework, essays and activity based assignments. Your coursework could include problem-solving activities, consultancy projects, presentations, computer-based exams, a portfolio based on Bloomberg trading and group or individual reports. You'll also be able to access support materials through our Learning Management System (Canvas).

5 GCSEs at grade D, or grade 3, or above and evidence of two years post-GCSE study at Level 3. If you have achieved at least grade E in one A level, or equivalent, you are exempt from the two years post-GCSE study requirement, but you still must meet the GCSE requirements. Applicants who do not meet the two years post GCSE study at level 3 may be considered based on their satisfactory employment history, which must be a minimum of two years full time employment supported by employer evidence and deemed appropriate by the University for meeting the course of study applied for. If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 5.5 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
