Learn to design, build and promote websites using best-practice techniques in this wide-ranging Master’s in Web Design and Content Planning. Whether you already manage websites or you wish to start your own web business, this course offers the skills for careers in web design and digital content. As part of the course, you'll create a live website and measure its success. This MA Web Design and Content Planning focuses on the technical, functional and aesthetic approaches to website design. You'll learn about industry best practice for mark-up, compliance, user experience, information architecture, content strategy, accessibility, and search engine optimisation (SEO). Assessment method

All assessments are based on your course work and project work. Some modules have 'interim crits', which provide feedback to help you monitor progress.


Entry requirements

An undergraduate (honours) degree at 2:2, or above, in a relevant subject. Applicants without a degree that have professional qualifications may be considered. A working knowledge of computer operating systems (Windows or Mac OS), good understanding of file management and competence in the use of standard office software.
