Course summary

This course will equip you with advanced skills in critical thinking and analysis by working closely on focused projects drawn from any area of English Literature. There are modules on a wide range of periods and genres. Taught elements of the course cover the critical, theoretical and methodological means to understand texts to an advanced level, creating an understanding of the cultural forms that tell us who we are. The programme explores up-to-date and innovative research skills so you can flourish and become a confident, independent thinker and learner, in preparation for an increasingly competitive market place for jobs or academia.
