Innovate and develop creative solutions for digital marketing challenges. Digital marketing channels have revolutionised business operations. Our BA (Hons) Digital and Social Media Marketing will equip you with the skills and experience that employers demand of modern marketing professionals and you will graduate with experience in digital marketing analytics and strategy, search engine optimisation, social media marketing and digital content creation. As this course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), you will be offered the opportunity to complete a Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing. With the learning on your Degree course, you will be exempt from completing some CIM assessments and will only need to complete one CIM assessment before achieving your Certificate. For our business courses at Staffordshire University, we provide a streamlined teaching method, allowing you to focus on one module at a time. To allow true immersion in each stage of your learning, you will study one topic over a five-week period and receive your results before starting the next module. Our approach focuses on individual skills and will develop your expertise as an independent learner and problem solver, preparing you for a fast-paced, focused career in business. On successful completion of study, we will issue the following award: BA (Hons) Digital and Social Media Marketing. Students will also graduate with a CMI Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership.

Assessment method
Assessment methods depend on the modules you will be studying. The primary methods of assessment are coursework and evaluative assignments, digital portfolio development, in-class tests, presentations (both individual and group) and examinations. Most modules include a Tutorial Assessment, which carries a weighting of around 10% and your attendance and participation in class will be reflected in the awarded mark
