Our Jewellery and Silversmithing course at UCA Farnham is based on the traditions of craftsmanship, combined with a forward-thinking approach to designing and making. All your lecturers will be practicing designers, makers or researchers, so you can be confident that everything you learn on the course will be relevant to real-life working in the industry. We encourage diverse approaches to jewellery and silversmithing, providing you with the specialist technical and creative skills you need to develop your ideas and make them a reality. You will gain valuable practical experience as you take part in international competitions, placements and industry projects. Our talented students have an excellent reputation in the profession, having won awards such as the Goldsmith’s Company Award, Bright Young Gems and the Guild of Enamellers’ Bursary Award.
