Course summary
Overview Whether you're an education professional or someone with an interest in the field, this MA Education Studies degree course will give you the skills to critically reflect on contemporary national and global educational issues – from childhood, educational psychology, and educational research, to schools, colleges and universities and continuing professional development. You'll learn to handle complex issues at an advanced level and if you're already in a professional role, you'll develop the skills needed to lead in education policy and pedagogy, enhancing your career prospects. Assessment method
Teaching and Assessment: The course is taught via a range of teaching methods and online delivery. There is face-to-face teaching for the core units and a mixture of online and face to face for the optional units. How are you assessed? You will be assessed through various methods, including: essays/ reports, blogs, literature critiques, dissertation proposal, presentations, extended personal study.
Entry requirements
A minimum of a second-class honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject. Equivalent professional experience and/or qualifications will be considered.
