Course summary
Validated by the University of Brighton, this highly successful and practical programme is designed to take foundation degree students to the next level of personal and professional development. The course offers students the opportunity to explore the marriage of creativity and technology. Students have access to eight studios and thirteen workstations with industry-standard hardware/software and can book one-to-one sessions with recording technicians. East Sussex College has received national AoC Beacon status for ‘Creativity in Writing, Art or Design’. The award is sponsored by the CLA (Copyright Licensing Agency) and was presented in recognition of the quality of our Music Production programme. WHAT CAN YOU DO AFTER THIS COURSE? Our FdA and BA (Hons) graduates have gone on to work with major organisations and/or set up their own companies. Modules
The BA (Hons) offers students the opportunity to expand on their existing knowledge and explore the marriage of creativity and technology across three units, before focusing on a specific industry related field in the form of a final Major Production Project.
Assessment method
Assessment is continuous and based on coursework; there are no formal examinations.
