Unlock international management opportunities across a range of sectors. You’ll explore the financial services industry and the continued expansion of international trade. This master’s course is driven by the increasingly global nature of the financial services industry and the continued expansion of international trade. We’ll help you gain the expertise to undertake a senior role for a company with an international reach. As part of this course, you’ll:

  • Develop intellectual and technical skills and learn to apply these to a range of complex problems in the field of international trade and finance
  • Study the key notions relating to international trade and finance, with the opportunity to specialise in your area of interest via your dissertation or consultancy project
  • Combine technical and subject-specific knowledge with skills related to working as a professional in internationally engaged companies
  • Extend your knowledge of international trade agreements
  • Apply your expertise to topical issues such as Brexit, trade wars, globalisation, inequality, and ethical issues associated with economic development

International links From the mix of students, to the course content and our strong international links, you’ll take an international perspective throughout your course. You’ll learn in a multi-cultural learning environment to prepare you for the international employment market. This course is delivered internationally in the UK, China and Vietnam and we have research links with a major Chinese university. International collaborative delivery We have a collaborative arrangement for delivery at a university in Hangzhou, China. If you’re studying in China, you’ll have the option to study one semester at Leeds Beckett as part of your course. Entry requirements

Applicants should either have at least a 2nd Class Honours degree or have equivalent experience or training, normally from within the work environment. All applications should be supported by a reference, either academic or professional. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum 5.5 in each component) or equivalent.
