Course summary

The PhD in Politics is a research programme in which you will make an original contribution to new knowledge by pursuing an extended and focused piece of research on a topic of your interest. We are deeply committed to our students at all levels and offer individualised supervision, mentoring, and support at all stages of the doctoral programme. Many postgraduate students work closely with staff on research and themselves publish independent papers and engage with the academic community and beyond. The department warmly welcomes the participation of our postgraduate community in our research, our working groups, and centres and in the daily life of the department.
