You will be taught about the different methods of reasoning and tools used by economists to tackle issues and problems of economic policy, and develop the skills needed for interpreting real world economic events. You will learn to source information and perform portfolio analysis. With access to real-live trading information, financial and economic news in our Bloomberg Trading room, as well as the Reuters Market Data System, you will be using the same tools as industry professionals, ensuring that when you graduate you have the key skills required for a job in industry. This course is offered as a degree with foundation year – a four-year programme which provides an additional foundation year at the beginning of the degree, that will give you academic and practical experience, as well as the skills you need to ensure you are equipped to successfully complete your chosen degree.
