Course summary

This degree provides a programme is suitable for those currently working as language teachers, those who plan to work as language teachers in the future, and those who simply have a strong interest in language learning and teaching. Core modules cover key themes of linguistics and academic study skills, complemented by optional modules that can be chosen from a range of specialised or broader topics.


Entry requirements

2:1 Hons degree (UK or equivalent) in a language-related degree or one with a number of language/linguistics-related subjects. If you have studied outside of the UK, we would advise you to check our list of international qualifications before submitting your application. We normally require an IELTS (Academic) Test with an overall score of at least 6.5 and a minimum of 6.5 in reading and writing and 6.0 in listening and speaking.
