Course summary

The MEd Psychology of Education has a long-standing reputation for excellence as a master's course that can be completed in one year full-time or across two years part-time. The MEd is designed to comply with the accreditation requirements set out by the British Psychological Society. The course covers core areas of psychology specifically in relation to education. You will develop critical skills in the evaluation and analysis of current research, theory and practice across education and psychology. The MEd can ignite or progress your career pathway within educational psychology helping you to target goals such as the Professional doctorate in Educational Psychology, a research career (for example through a research PhD) as well as supporting careers targeting education and school-based options.


Entry requirements

We require a UK Honours degree with a First or Upper Second (2.1) classification or the overseas equivalent. When assessing your academic record we take into account the grades you have achieved and the standing of the institution where you studied your qualification.
