It's often said that an organisation's most important assets are its people, and so understanding how to manage people is fundamental to how any successful organisation operates. This sandwich course enables you to develop an understanding of business and people management processes, while also gaining valuable experience in industry. You’ll develop a broad understanding of all areas in business, before specialising in human resources. You’ll explore concepts such as researching people and organisations, human resource development, international business communication and new perspectives in management and human resources. This course is also approved by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and upon graduation you will gain Associate Membership of the CIPD. Our Business Management Joint Honours courses are all built on a common first year of study, which means you have the option to transfer to a different Joint Honours course after the first year.
