Course summary
Take a comprehensive look at the law, combined with studying crime, social order and social control that is central to the study of Criminology. The programme has been designed to appeal to students who may wish to undertake careers within the criminal justice system including probation work, youth work, the police service and the prison service. Alternatively students successfully completing the BA (Hons) Criminology and Law programme can progress onto a Level 7 Masters degree externally in a relevant discipline.

Assessment method
The programme includes a varied range of academic assessments designed in line with employer consultation, to provide you with key skills and attributes. These include (but are not limited to); reports; essays; group and individual presentations; open book exams; simulations; moots; and dissertation.
