Course summary

About the course Entrepreneurial skills are essential for career success – whether in small and medium-sized companies, non-profit organisations, communities, your own business or on project-based venture teams in large companies. Our Entrepreneurship and Innovation MSc combines academic knowledge with practical skills. You’ll learn to design, manage and grow new ventures in volatile and complex business world. You’ll gain the skills needed to make reasoned and creative contributions to problem-solving in dynamic and uncertain entrepreneurial contexts. You’ll also increase your awareness of ethics and responsible business practices. You’ll be able to reflect on ethical and moral issues in entrepreneurship and innovation. You’ll learn from and network with visiting speakers. These include entrepreneurs running successful and innovative social and commercial enterprises. You’ll also benefit from our close collaboration with the Sussex Innovation Centre, the University’s Entrepreneurship team and local organisations that offer strategic advice for entrepreneurs, start-ups and innovative growing companies. Accreditation You’ll join the EQUIS and AMBA-accredited University of Sussex Business School. Assessment method

You’ll be assessed by a combination of coursework, essays, group and individual reports, and presentations. There are also unseen examinations.
