Excluding General Studies. While we are willing to consider any combination of A Level subjects (excluding General Studies), we prefer students to be studying two of the following: Mathematics Further Mathematics English Literature Physics Biology Chemistry Geography History Languages Accounting Economics Business Studies Government and Politics Law Latin Philosophy Achievement of a minimum of five GCSE grades A*-C or 8-4, or equivalent, is normally required. GCSE Mathematics and English Language or Literature grade B or 6 required if not taken at A or AS level.

Overall DDD. Business-related subjects preferred. GCSE Mathematics and English Language or Literature grade B or 6 required.

45 Level 3 credits at Distinction to include at least 6 credits in maths or quantitative methods.

AAABB at Higher Grade. Combinations of Highers and Advanced Highers accepted. Mathematics and English required at National 5, minimum grade B (or grade 2 Standard Grade or Intermediate 2 equivalent) if not offered at Higher Grade. Where a candidate bypasses the assessment for National 5 qualifications, a minimum of grade B in the Higher in Maths and grade C in the Higher English is required. Scottish qualifications can be taken in more than one sitting.

A minimum of 35 points with three subjects at grade 5 or above at Higher Level preferably including Mathematics. Standard Level Mathematics or Mathematical Studies and English (Language and/or Literature) required at grade 5 if not offered at Higher Level.

We welcome applications from students offering an Extended Project and value the skills of research and independent learning that it is designed to develop. If you offer an Extended Project, it will be taken into account as part of your application profile, but we will not usually include it in offer conditions for this degree programme.
