If you wish to study two academic subjects in depth our Joint Honours degree programmes are a great way to do this. At York St John you will be taught by enthusiastic and experienced staff who are active as scholars and researchers in their specialist areas. Combining History and English Literature degree programmes at York St John provides you with the chance to study a broad range of types and periods of history, whilst also exploring how stories work, how they appeal to us, persuade us and affect us. We provide an excellent learning environment in the historic centre of the City of York, with a rich selection of museums, libraries and historical sites to complement and enhance the academic programme.
