Course summary

The BSc Business Management with Marketing top-up is a conversion programme for students who have gained an HND/FdSc in Business Management and Marketing, or a related subject. This course will build on the knowledge and skills gained from the first two years of study and enable students to apply their knowledge by undertaking research into an area of their own choice to complete the dissertation.

Assessment method

Assessment is via a balance of course work and examination. Students receive written feedback on all course work to help them improve. In addition, first year students undertake examinations in three subjects at the end of the first term to enable them to gauge how they are progressing and feedback is provided on these exams. Course work may be reports, presentations or portfolios and may be produced individually or in a team.

Entry requirements

Qualification requirements

Top-up applicants must have achieved an average of 50% in their Foundation degree to apply for BSc non-honours and 60% to apply for BSc Honours. Applicants must have completed a full year’s placement as part of their course of study or two years of full-time relevant employment after their course.
