Our Accounting & Business Analytics degree offers a future-focused curriculum and is designed to equip you with a comprehensive set of skills - cutting-edge financial and analytical skills - which meet industry demands. Over the degree’s 360 credits, you’ll explore a range of key areas including financial accounting, finance & economics, management accounting, business analytics, and accounting information systems. Along the way you’ll learn about a number of business analytics tools and data analytics techniques and gain valuable hands-on experience with industry-standard software such as Advanced Financial Modelling in Excel, SAP, SAGE, Qlik, and Bloomberg Terminals. You’ll also stay ahead of the curve with our future-focused curriculum which includes a module in AI (Artificial Intelligence) & Emerging Technologies in Accounting and Finance, and an optional module in FinTech. These forward-thinking areas will prepare you to tackle modern financial challenges with confidence and innovation. Choose to take the degree's optional placement year (the 'sandwich' mode) and you'll have a chance to put your skills into practice in the workplace! Plus, as a Greenwich Business School student, expect insights from guest speakers and a range of events where you can network. You'll also, courtesy of the university's network of industry contacts, get a chance to apply for our career mentoring scheme. This is your chance to be mentored by someone working in industry who will be able to share their insight and advice with you. This degree is accredited with the following professional bodies: CIMA, AIA, IFA, CIPFA; which offer exemptions; including up to CIMA Certificate Level and full exemption from ACCA Applied Knowledge Level. The programme is also recognised for the CFA Certificate in Sustainable Investing and the prestigious CFA ESG Certificate University Affiliation Programme. Students on the degree have a chance to apply to be selected for the prestigious Robert Holman Bursary. Qualification requirements

We make Contextual offers to this programme. Applicants that meet specific eligibility criteria will be made a contextual offer with a reduced tariff of up to 16 UCAS Tariff points. Other entry requirements such as GCSEs, Interview, etc., will still need to be met. For further information, please see our Contextual Admissions policy. We also accept applications if you wish to transfer from another institution, and have already studied 1 or 2 years of a relevant course at level 4 or 5 and wish to continue your education at the University of Greenwich.
