The BA (Hons) Business (Finance) has been designed to equip you with the knowledge of the major tools and theory of financial management and how these can be applied to real business situations. With CMI accreditation and membership, this qualification will be highly valued to many employers and will increase your employability prospects. You will develop skills and understanding specific to financial and management accounting and the role of financial specialists as sources of management information for effective decision making. You’ll also gain an understanding of the design and operation of financial systems, the measurement and management of risk and the possibilities for improving the performance of a business through good financial decision making. You will also develop a range of transferrable skills that will aid you as you pursue a business career or further relevant study.
