Course summary
The Business Higher National Diploma (HND) has a strong work-related emphasis. With that in mind, the course provides you with a thorough grounding in the key concepts and practical skills required in the sector. The course is designed for those who prefer more practical and vocational perspective than a traditional degree course, and offers a nationally and internationally recognised award after two years of study. It appeals to employees working in a Management role where they can relate their experience for completing assignments. A large proportion of our students use the qualification as a springboard onto a final year top up degree here or at other universities. What can I do after completing this course? Once you have completed the HND you will have a diverse range of transferable skills that will enable you to either; start your career in the industry, or further it with promotion to management level roles, or choose to specialise in a particular business function or role. Otherwise you could continue with your studies and top-up your qualification with the full BSc Honours on our BSc (Hons) Business top-up at the University Centre Hastings.
