Course summary

This course will prepare you for work as a professional electronic engineer specialising in control and instrumentation engineering which lies at the heart of many industries, from nuclear and renewable power generation to all sorts of manufacturing industries. You will gain extensive practical experience to ensure that you develop sound practical skills as well as a thorough theoretical knowledge. You will study general aspects of electronic engineering and specialised modules. ‘Placement Year’ and 'International Experience Year’ options are available for this course. You will have the opportunity to fully consider these options when you have started your course at Bangor and can make an application for a transfer onto such a pathway at the appropriate time.
