Course summary

This programme will provide you with the competencies required to practice as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner. You will develop competencies which are traditionally seen as more in the ‘medical’ domain such as physical assessment, making clinical diagnoses and ordering investigations. You will also develop your professional role and work collaboratively to improve quality of care and influence health care practice and develop leadership skills.

Assessment method

Assessments will be through a variety of methods including exams, Observed Clinical Structured Examinations (OSCEs), reflective essays and case studies. In each module you will have the opportunity to practice the assessment informally prior to taking the actual summative assessment.
